Gnome Matter | How to Create a Handmade Card

Today, it’s all about this cute stamp set and it’s called Gnome Matter and I am sharing a handmade card.

I have been having so much fun “playing” with this stamp set and you can’t tell me that you don’t think he’s adorable too đŸ˜‰

I have always loved garden gnomes so when Close To My Heart had this in the catalogue, I knew it would be one of the first stamps that I buy.

It’s available on my website until 31 August 2020 or until stock last.

However if you love it as much as I do then you better be quick and orders yours in case it sells out.

Home Sweet Gnome….

I have created a few things with this stamp set as it works on a handmade card or a scrapbook layout.

I created this card to send to a fellow consultant that has just bought a new house and I thought it would be a lovely card to send to her.

How To:

Using my Cricut Maker, I cut out the oval shape and the mushroom house and I used my Spectrum Noir TriBlendâ„¢ Markers to colour in the flowers, gnome and the hedgehog.

If you wish, you could colour in the gnome using water colour paints or pencils as these stamps are just screaming to be coloured in.

Another craft I enjoy is adult colouring. So having the ability to colour in some stamps is great because I get to combine my crafts.

To add some glittery effect to the gnome’s beard, I used the clear shimmer brush and don’t you think it adds something special to him.

I also used some 3D foam tape to add some dimension to the card.

Below are 2 scrapbook pages I created using this stamp set and as you can see it works quite well on a layout too.

Process Video….

Thanks so much for dropping by to check out my handmade card Gnome Matter and I hope you enjoyed seeing this.

I’d love to hear if what you have completed with this stamp set too, so feel free to leave me a comment.
